In Celebration of Ocean Month 2024, Portofino Dry Gin Launches The Ocean Cocktail Crowning Its Partnership with One Ocean Foundation

To mark Ocean Month 2024, which is celebrated internationally every June, Portofino Dry Gin renews its commitment to supporting the marine and coastal environment conservation activities promoted by One Ocean Foundation, the international foundation with which it signed a donor partnership at the beginning of 2023.

Once again this year, Portofino Dry Gin will be at the forefront alongside One Ocean Foundation, supporting the Foundation's commitment to ocean protection, particularly the Blue Forest project. This project aims to restore the Gulf of Tigullio with Posidonia oceanica, a plant that plays a crucial role in the marine ecosystem by capturing carbon dioxide, generating oxygen, and providing habitat and nourishment for many marine species.

Specifically, for Ocean Month 2024, to raise awareness about marine ecosystem preservation, Portofino Dry Gin is launching The Ocean Cocktail. This cocktail, characterized by its ocean blue color, is made with Portofino Dry Gin and features fresh and herbaceous notes. With its light taste and a final touch of lavender velvet, it evokes the sea breeze with every sip.

Throughout June, Portofino Dry Gin will invite its customers to join in promoting marine environment conservation by including The Ocean Cocktail or its interpretation in their drink lists. In a select number of venues, there will also be exclusive masterclasses held by Paolo Gastaldo, Brand Ambassador of Portofino Dry Gin, which will include the preparation of The Ocean Cocktail.
